North Wildlife Foundation

North Wildlife Foundation is an organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of Northwest Ontario's boreal ecosystem. The boreal forest is the world's largest contiguous forest, stretching from Alaska through northern Canada to Scandinavia and Russia. It's home to a wide variety of wildlife, including moose, lynx and songbirds that migrate from Central and South America.

Currently, our efforts focus on preserving the area around Basket Lake. Basket Lake is on Canadian Crown land and home to an ecologically sustainable fishing lodge, and an abundance of animal and plant life.
